In hindsight, this was presumably done for reasons more grounded in business (see: forcing you to use Docs by way of Gmail attachment viewing) than software stability. ![]() We hope the recently launched multi-file upload will be an acceptable substitute in the meantime. In order to address this, we’ll be taking down the feature and working on a bringing it back in the future with more features and better integration. As you may know, it’s been a bit buggy recently and only supports a small subset of document types compared to the Docs list. We’re removing the existing “email-in” feature.
